[#21] 未買■■ PS AUDIO Power Plant Priemier ■■ 有福 Hi guruhifi88, do you feed your poweramp from PPP too? I also has a PPP & used to plug the entire system in it, but the PPP had trouble feeding my big solid state poweramp. So I now only plug my CDP & preamp into the PPP. 最後修改時間: 2009-12-17 09:38:57

[#26] 未買■■ PS AUDIO Power Plant Priemier ■■ 有福 Hi 嚦嚦二世 & dwan I dare not to say previously that I plug everything to my PPP including my 300B PP amp, as majority of users would consider this CRAZY! To say it again, I listen at low volume in a dedicated music room of about 110 sq ft and I didn't detect any lost in dynamics. However for BIG solid state amp that requires large current, I don't recommend it. So far the ppp works perfectly non-stop to support my system for more than 3 or 4 yrs. I use Goldmund & harmonics spikes on ppp, they surely change its sound, which one is better? you guess ! for my full valve setup the answer if obvious .... goldmund. As for PC it also make great difference ! Believe it or not!? I used to use Nordost Vahalla and I changed it to AET SCR EVO !! Hard to beleive ah?

[#27] 未買■■ PS AUDIO Power Plant Priemier ■■ 有福 Hi, Forgot to say, my PPP is supporting my CD player, DA, pre-mp, power amp, phono amp & a huge single fly wheel motor driving my VPI turntable. I can have all 6 units on and experience no problems whatsoever. However, the older p300, p600 & p500 can't do that.I also asked myself this question, why ? for hi-end equipments they should all have high quality power supply (include stablisation, protective & filtering circuits and so on ...) but how come they still need this ACTIVE re-generator?? (I used many PASSIVE devices in the past but not to MY satisfaction). May be I'm like you guys or correctly to say, like 80% of population in HK, we are living in super-condensed blocks of high-rise building in which contaminated power supply is at its WORSE .... so special & dedicated equipment is a MUST. Like to hear other C Hing's experiences on OTHER similar devices, please....

[#30] 未買■■ PS AUDIO Power Plant Priemier ■■ 有福 Guruhifi88 hing, Agreed that a more powerful PC works better with PPP, Vahalla might not suit Mine is a DIY single wire cable using Oyaide F1 and Furetech MI-50 plugs, much better than my previous Synergistic Reseach DR SQ I plug only the light gears I knew that there is an c-hing using several PPP with each component connecting to 1 PPP BTW, the PPP is heavy on the right but light on the left, how to position the spikes ?

[#31] 未買■■ PS AUDIO Power Plant Priemier ■■ 有福 Hi Dawn, I'm one of those lazy guys not playing too much on spikes ... but I do realise left & right unbalanced weight of PPP, I tend to use two on the heavy side (supporting the smooth surface) to make the soundstage tighter / firmer. I'm trying it with Symposium Roller Block later, will let you know. Curious to know the benefits(how large?) of one PPP to support one component? Although I don't find any problems with my setup now, but one supporting too many may not be good enough, particularly, there are all together 17 tubes in my signal path, each tube's fillaments do draw some currents !!!

[#37] 未買■■ PS AUDIO Power Plant Priemier ■■ 有福 I have never used the Titan for components other than power amps, so no comparison could be made As for PPP, I found the connecting cable very important while the sockets for power amp should not be used for other gears
