[#21] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! Here are some links to some fun (English) readings on the T-amp.... http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/t-amp_tweaks_e.html And I think this was the first "professional" review of the T-amp.... http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/sonicimpact/t.html

[#25] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! I have been thinking about what kind of speakers to use with the T-amp. The purchase of the T-amp is almost like an excuse to buy another pair of speakers. I was thinking of getting an used pair of JBL HLS-610 horn-loaded monitors from about 7-8 years ago....very smooth-sounding speaker. Then I remember they're rated at 88 dB....maybe too insensitive for the T-amp. When working with low-powered amps, have to maximize every single watt.

[#26] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! I think the low power problem can be solved by going biamping. One for the right channel and the other for the left channel. Then there would be no problem to get big sound. I am using a pair of KEF of 91db sensitivity. But I read on the web that you can get better sound by bi-amping. Now I am considering to buy one more to test.

[#27] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! That's a very interesting idea, but when you purchase the T-amp X 2, the price will make it not as attractive as a bargain. For those who don't know, there's TEAC Tripath 3 channel power amp for US$100.00 that puts out 30 watts/channel. 2 T-amp with 2 power supply come close to the cost of the TEAC poer amp.

[#31] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! BTW, audiocircle.com's "Multi-channel and digital domain" is probably the most active website for digital amps. T-amp, TEAC, JVC, Panasonic, Sharp, etc....all inexpensive digital amps are talked about there. May not appeal to HK audiophiles because of "low prices", but I am cheap. http://www.audiocircle.com/circles/viewforum.php?f=43

[#33] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! By paying US$16 for the amp board (switches, VR plugs all included) and US$6 for a second hand switching power supply, you would already get a 200W x2 amp. Already tried it briefly. Very POWERFUL Lily Chen is still Lily Chen. No wonder why many people are now using class D amp to drive active subwoofer. This is the real "GIANT" killer. In face of energy crisis, we should give this kind of stuff a chance.

[#40] A cheap 'Giant-killer' Int Amp! Dear soundboy, Thanks for your input. My speaker is 4 Ohm with a sensitivity less than 90dB. But the X'over is heavily modified and moved outside the speaker cabinet. Let see what will happen later with the modified T-amp Dear Ricky, I had also tried to find a on-line shop with international shipping service but failed. So I went to eBay to buy the T-amp
