| [#23] 近來好Hot的DAC.....L.K.S dual 9018 dac The LKS DAC model IV is using 2 x ESS9018 chipset, same as Wadia Intuition 01 , just 1 x ESS9018 for each channel. ESS9018 is a DAC accept 32bit/384Khz data natively. and can accept DSD64 and DSD128x dsd data natively. the only DAC which is not using off the shelf IC may be only MSB, dCS and EMMLabs. MSB and DCS using high precision resistors for implementation, but one is PCM base and one is 5bit dsd one. For dcs, when we play 16/44.1 , it still need to convert to DSD for processing , to some extends , it is not a pcm native decoder. for EMMLabs, it is a different implementation with self developed software for dsd processing and for pcm data , also need to convert before processing. | [#25] 近來好Hot的DAC.....L.K.S dual 9018 dac there are other DAC using BB PCM1795 chipset (which is a 32bit/192khz) , it is also a sigma delta chipset can accept data up to 192KHz. for dsd data, it also accept dsd natively but also convert to pcm internally before processing. for data over 192KHz or dsd64x, the dac need to downsample to 192khz before doing D to A conversion by PCM1795. both pcm1795 and ess9018 are sigma delta based chipset. cheers! blau 最後修改時間: 2013-10-02 15:51:37 |

| [#29] 近來好Hot的DAC.....L.K.S dual 9018 dac 其實 delta sigma 是一門很深的學問, 不是網上三言兩語可以總結它的好壞. 我也是門外漢, 看過了一些有關delta sigma dac的文章後只知它是充分利用了電腦作為"計算器"的優勢. 而 multi-bit 則是對零件的精確度有極高的要求. 至於那個較好聲, 單從電子或數學的學術層面上我認為未能完全說明. 仲要睇整個市場的潮流. |

| [#36] 近來好Hot的DAC.....L.K.S dual 9018 dac heman hing, ESS9018 與 PCM1795 都是將data 轉為sigma delta , 最後都要過 I/V and lPF stage. ESS9018 can input sample rate up to 32bit/384khz, and PCM1795 can accept data up 32bit/192KHz . therefore, PCM1795 cannot process 24/352.8 24/384 or dsd128x natively, the DAC will convert the data to 24/192 before send to PCM1795 for oversampling and processing. DAC1955MK2 is NOT using PCM1795 I believe. For DAC implementation, there are two implementations for pcm , one is sigma delta and one is R2R. For circuit design, sigma delta need i/v and LPF at the output pint of the DAC chipset, and R2R does not . Cheers! Blau |
