| [#21] 有無師兄知Studer A730 同 D730 有乜分別?? IMHO, S1,S2 is differ from 單皇冠 and 雙皇冠. S1 and S2 is rating. The 皇冠 mark is........ When we compare the sound of different device, how can we only rate them by dac spec? The analog out of Studer is one of the best sounding design. Real time upsampling to 24/192 is full of jitter and phase error. Not comparable to true DVD-A 24/192 pre-recorded disk. Many modern players with 24 bit dac didn't provide compatible analog circuit to perform. Don't ask me to write down what(pile of old garbage) gears I have as it may be boring to see the long list. Master 254mm know what I mean, haha. |

| [#22] 有無師兄知Studer A730 同 D730 有乜分別?? 其實A730當年在朋友家都聽過，佢用CDM4做光頭，跟機有一本很詳細的SERVICE MANUAL，我也借來影印過。电路的重頭戲在於控掣讀碟的部份，你可隨意選擇由那個field開始，到那個field，或者車前倒後去search那一個field，快慢控掣非常靈活，用另一組簡單的TDA1543解碼經放大器，去耳機或隨機小喇叭，所以在search中仍可發聲，方便編輯音樂使用，所以是切頭切尾的电台專業用的CD機，貴的原因就是這裹，另一組用TDA1541做解碼，經OP AMP 做的ACTIVE FILTER 去line out。完全是標準的PHILIPS /MARANTZ 電路，當然用的是歐洲零件。有的人冇深入去鑽研，就去追求名器。實屬可惜！ |

| [#27] 有無師兄知Studer A730 同 D730 有乜分別?? CDM3 is not for cheap CD players. Only Studer A730, Krell MD10 and Luxman used them. It was designed to be used for professional CDROM readers. That's why they are often found from scraped computer control units in China. Unlike CDM4, of which you find a lot of them in plastic, you only have CDM3 in metal frame. Both Studer A730 and Krell MD10 turned to CDM4 when getting close to the end of its production life as no CDM3 was available. But they are just not the same if you have a chance to compare. |

| [#29] 有無師兄知Studer A730 同 D730 有乜分別?? 其實R33高人甚多, 小弟只不过野人獻曝。 但越來越觉得平衡甚重要, 沒有一件器材或一欸零件是必殺的。 舊東西有其缺点, 也有其優点, 主要看聽什麼和什麼年代的音樂, 以及用者的心。 前一排在朋友家聽其玩LS5/9, 一样正到暈, 估唔到用Scott 222推竟然鬼太鼓都有板有眼, 令小弟甘拜下風。可見無論什麼器材, 用家的用心十分重要。古不古董, 只是出廠年份的数字不同。A730有人好好声, 亦有人衰声。就如大會堂聽音樂, 有时好正, 有時好差。要看樂團, 樂手和环境, 不能單話大會堂老就無新一代音樂廳正。 前陣子聽Shure V15VMR MM頭, 都不知幾開心, 幾乎無意思用回MC頭。照道理, 規格, MC頭殺低MM十條街，为何MM重有聽的價值? 道理和A730一样。 我個人無偏好, LP/CD, 石/胆, 現代机/古董机, 3/5a到JBL一律照聽, 最重要是音樂好。有時候見朋友玩到非常好聲, 實在非常開心佩服, 因這確是個人努力鑽研而來, 而非器材本身的分别。 |

Studer A730 是 CDM3, TDA1541A S1 single crown. |

Set up including(but not limited to): Studer: A730 D19 V8 A77/A80 A779/961 D741(act as 16bit dac) A68 As studer has no passive speakers, I use Revox BX4100 or Atrium MKII as monitors. I also listened to D730 with the same set up. Both of them are just good and musical. Bass line is tight and clear. High is crispy and sweet. tonal balance is excellent. Density of vocal just killing us. |

| [#36] 有無師兄知Studer A730 同 D730 有乜分別?? 今晚嘗試了該一AB test, Studer A730 是以Balance out (用adapter 轉作RCA 入 C22)。 明顯地 A730 的Gain 是大於 Pioneer D9 MKII 一個碼, 即A730 十點的話, D9要接緊十一點才大致相若, 這樣增加了一點比較上的困難。 1st Song : 祝我幸福, A730蔡琴人聲較為行前一步, 十分磁性, 吸引, D9平面未能與 A730較量 2nd Song : You look good to me, D9就較開闊, 牛筋鋸得較A730低, 奇怪是三組音器加在一起以平常心欣賞, 則A730出來的Jazz音樂感强很多 3rd Song : Gavotte...., D9出來的3D堂音明顯很多, 小提琴聲較A730悅耳, 可能SACD的訊息量多一些的關係 4th Song : 追憶, 又係人聲A730嬴盡, 電結他音量配夏先生人聲恰好到位, D9電結他尖利D 跳到 5th Song : 八音和, 女人敲擊, 能量感較缺, 以前聽幾得意, 今次AB test 細聽, 只覺無味, 飛去第二首 7th Song : Shenandoah, 只想聽A730的, 空氣感今我不太想轉到D9... 12th Song : 檳城艶, 唯一一首人聲我鍾意用D9, 不想劉雅麗咀型太凸...! 正經的是首歌開段的音樂鼓聲隻SACD都暗暗地, 不澎湃... A730是會令人聽畢成隻CD, ...因為無Remote Control... D9 MKii (購入到目前播不到200hrs, 另外因為是美版, 所以電源插入了Isolated Step Down 牛 - 是Stancor 幾十年前的P-6389) 會用作多聽純音樂聲效... Just for fun sharing. |
