| [#27] 旺角音響中心三十年光榮結業! I don't comment about the service of this shop or the price of this shop. But I can tell your guys the main reason for the close is not these! 1. Most of distributor try to sell their products directly. Agent or dealer is hard to be in the market. 2. The rent of the shop is much higher than before.(This is not only for HiFi Business.) 3. The normal HiFI friends or Audiophile is much poor than before, especially the middle class income guys! These guys are the big market for the HiFi shop or normal large size HiFi shop in MK. 4. The young group is much less interest for audiophile than before. And the eduction of music or audiophile is not good as before. So the market of audiophile is less a lot! ................ Guess in the near future, there is almost no any audiophile dealers in Hong Kong! |

| [#37] 旺角音響中心三十年光榮結業! Hope that the closing down of Mongkok hifi Centre will shock the hifi retail industry in HK! Lots of industries have already changed from the basic taxi to stock brokerage, health service, estate agent and ..... They become more service oriented and professional. We as end user want professional and constructive comments. The hifi industry are still dominated by retailers who always want to take advantages on customers. Frankly speaking, I'm willing to buy at slightly higher price with good service, friendly environment and properly set up rather than awlful services! In fact, lots of distributor is start selling their own products instead of through retailers. Hopefully those who want to survive could improve their service. |

| [#38] 旺角音響中心三十年光榮結業! But not every consumers understand cost of service which is actually much higher then other cost due to labour cost of a "just up to standard" staff...... And many boss only willing to pay low salary for serveral supid staffs rather then pay high salary for one real good, professional staff..... On the other hand, a real smart, professional guy also "TOO" understand his own value, not happy to work as just a shop sales...... I think this is problem for whole retail industries not just hifi, I think some years later there may only direct sales without middle retailer. |
