Open baffle首要條件係塊障板要夠大，否則冇作用。第二，所用單元係要高Q值，一般設計要用箱既單元玩OB會冇低音。

玩OB要解決塊板既強度，加強肋好重要，如果唔係沒有箱聲又有板聲。玻璃咁硬當面積有番咁上下大時，用手打都變振膜咁出到低音。

if you are playing 2 way open baffle i.e. a fullrange plus a helper woofer, the fullrange does not need to be of very high Q value because you now have a helper woofer to come in at xxx hz frequency depending on the width of the baffle. It is a matter of finding the xover frequency. But of course the lower the qts of the fullrange on top, the higher may be the xover frequency, other things being equal.

In that case, Lowther can be used on open baffle too, as long as you also use a helper woofer for the bottom octaves. A popular choice is Altec 416a used by many Lowther-OB diyer, or Tone Tubby 12" alnico Hempcone.

don't neglect that OD is VERY depending on room.
It need a not small and neat and not too absorbant wall to sing....

Otherwise, a tradittional box speaker can product more balance sound.

如裝OB可參考這形式。

1.障板要夠大(無論長度和寬度)，作用係要隔開單元前面和背面反相的低音互相抵銷(音響短路)，頻率越低波長越長，需要障板的Size越大

2.單元開口避免開在障板正中，要四面路徑距離不相稱，使折回頻率不一致，避免集中某頻率有過大峰谷。
