| [#26] 古CD機同好會 Hi, Mike. I used to own this Meridien PRO MCD. I have it first hand from 1985(?) until last year. Yet I left it in Australia for about 10 years and therefore the CDM1 laser head is still quite new. I sold it to a R33 friend last year. It is a very musical player and much better than the CD100 or CD101 of the same vintage. Adding a new clock will greatly upgrade the soundstage and bass. Yet I don't recommend to change the 5534 opam in it. |

| [#27] 古CD機同好會 CD機是科技產品，如按照科技越來越進步的講法，古CD機理論上應比不上現今的CD機，起碼在規格上可以如是說（用料方面就難說了……），可是當我們撇開這種考慮，而單純就CD機的重播表現來看，有部分古CD機的確比其他同期甚至現今的CD機在音色方面更吸引，我不知道原因，但依我個人有限的經驗及我所聽到的經驗來說，古CD機真是有這方面的優勝之處。 當然以上的講法並不能一概而論，但大體上古CD機的音樂感是比較豐富的，而個別廠牌及型號當然更應有其不同特色，在這方面，就要靠大家在這同好會裡繼續慷慨分享了。8-) |
