I had used tube amp, hybrid amp and SS amp to drive Prelude, I think timbre and quality is more important than power. But if you want to use tube amp to drive MTM designed Zingali, I guess PP is better than SE tube amp. oldtype hing, Do you think your Zingali is sensitive to humidity? myers hing, Hello:) |

| [#28] zingali 同好會 b-for-beatles hing, Although I had listen so many horn speaker such as JBL, Westlake, Odeon and Avatgarde, I didn't A-B test the Zingali and other horn speaker with the same setup. And I think you would get fascinating sound if you used 300B to drive Overture, but I suggest you try Overture 1 or Overture 2 first, those are not MTM design, and you would do well to fully run-in its mid-bass driver fitst, the paper cone mid-bass driver needs time to aging, please be patient. fomhk hing, Change to HKD, I guess Prelude 1 is about 15K and Prelude 4 is about 32K; Overture 4 is over 100K absolutely. |

| [#29] zingali 同好會 My new toy. A 2a3 SE tube amp. Just so-so if used alone. But quite good when paired with one decent preamp. 3.5W power can drive the 95db- efficient speaker to a reasonable sound level (of course no big bang explosion for the flea power amp). The speed and dynamic is good, rendering good musciality. May try to roll some other 2A3 tubes. RCA is too expensive la. Any other suggestion? Dear Maestro, "sensitvie to humidty" In what aspects are you referring to? sound or appearance of the horn? For sound, my ears are not that sensitive. Except under very wet weather that makes one annoyed and hence no good mood for music listening. For appearance, I have only used my horn for only about 6 months. So far so good. Hope it may last long.  |

| [#35] zingali 同好會 用咗呢對喇叭1年多, 對器材同間屋環境有掌握，喇叭擺位已差不多了. 可能我對喇叭係用Horn高音關係，喇叭離座位距離係有啲限制，擺得近座位Horn高音能量太大, 音場傾前，擺近前牆低頻量感太大，而且音場欠立體，而側牆闊度不足, 擺位距離亦有一定限制。 我對Horn喇叭在環境限制下，擺位現位置於長方型空間約1/3（距離前牆約1.5米），左右離側牆0.5米，呢一個喇叭落點主要平衡（妥協）幾方便： 1）低頻能量及音場前後距離感； 2）低頻分析力 3）音樂訊息量及包圍感 4）樂器定位 5）日常家居生活需要 Horn 喇叭嘅聲音係非常直接,真實,質感好, 但係在擺位中留意嘅問題比較多, 希望代理能夠做多啲 show/示範, 等多啲用家/準用家可以瞭解多啲, 聽多啲, 多謝閲讀！  最後修改時間: 2018-07-14 09:44:00 |
