| [#4661] LS3/5A Club ~ Chartwell But there were reports from Malaysia that a suitably tuned acoustically room with the AB1 sounds excellent too (famous LS3/5A fan: Jo Ki's system, in fact). I yet don't have the chance to convince myself. ------------------------------------------ It's worth visiting Jo if u come to Malaysia. Jo's room is only 13' * 9', quite good for 3/5a. The set up is really superb! But I do feel that 3/5a is "small" in room size ＞ 300sqft, even though equipped with ab-1. Rgs. |

| [#4668] LS3/5A Club ~ Chartwell John; I am from Hong Kong. I own exactly 1 pair of Rogers Ls3/5a. I do not have a tube-amp now but I may attempt to buy a Linn Classik, if I find one super inexpensive, to start a system. I guess I would like to preserve a hifi history + a nice investment even I doubt if I would sell it. I choose a Proac Tablette for my 1st speaker over Ls3/5a long long time ago but I still miss its soft sound so I buy a pair to give myself a peace of mind + hifi enjoyment. |
