| [#5232] Leak Club - TL25A meet with Tannoy For more info regarding Tannoy GRF Audograph Tannoy（天朗） Autograph Millennium揚聲器，這對分量龐大的號角式揚聲器，絕對不是甚麼新產品，即使它是所謂的複刻版，但亦已在去年 6月停產。不過，由於複刻版是廠商接到定單才會生產，故此產量極少，據行內人士透露，亞洲數量不出 10對。¶２１ＨＩＦＩ.ＣＯＭ¶ Tannoy Autograph其實是英國 Tannoy於 1954年加入 Hi-Fi市場的第一件製品，採用號角式同軸單元設計，是當年的旗艦級產品。 Autograph的原設計師，就是 Tannoy的始創人 Guy R. Fountain， 1926年于南倫敦 West Norwood創立 Tannoy的前身公司 Tulsemere Manufacturing Company。于 50年代， Fountain先生希望能製作出一對能發揮出 15 吋同軸單元最大潛能的揚聲器，由此生產了 Autograph。 Autograph自 1954年推出以來，一直生產至 1974年，期間備受世界各地音響迷讚賞，被視為高級喇叭中的極品，可說是升上了「神」，更有音響迷把它譽為 20世紀最具代表性揚聲器之一。¶２１ＨＩＦＩ.ＣＯＭ¶ 複刻再造¶２１ＨＩＦ¶２１ＨＩＦＩ.ＣＯＭ¶Ｉ.ＣＯＭ¶ 由於 Autograph的經典性，不少 Hi-Fi迷都很渴望重溫 Autograph的妙韻。故此 Tannoy決定在停產了 25年後（即 2000年），重新限量生產 Autograph。複刻的經典揚聲器被叫作 Autograph Millennium，雖然大體上仍然忠於原著，但在好些地方都作出改動，以配合現時的音響器材及用家要求。 Autograph Millennium採用了比舊版更硬更重的樺木作音箱素材，令整體重量重了約 16kg。此外，號角揚聲器單元、導線、接線端子等各項細節都經過改良，令這對源自約半世紀前的揚聲器，可以追得上時代的步伐。¶ 經過重新改良的分音網路（ Crossover Network）。此外， Millennium版在多項細節上，都按現時的音響標準加以改良，以符合現代樂迷的要求。15 吋同軸號角單元，各項細節都經過重新製作，音色的細緻度比舊版更上一層樓。音箱後更刻有設計師， Tannoy創辦人 Guy R. Fountain的簽名。 |

| [#5235] Leak Club - TL25A meet with Tannoy Thanks for Colin, Pang and Mike to let us have a great party today. To my ear both M7 (Marantz & Audio Note are good for my ears)... I would said Marantz 7 sound better with Leak 12.1 but Audio note is match better with Leak TL25A. I would take Audio Note M7 and Leak TL25A to the crown of couple in today's party....I think the more accurate and well controlled sound from this couple sound good to me. |

| [#5239] Leak Club - TL25A meet with Tannoy NEC, Gingers, M9, XWH, diytfy, YC, Mouton, Albertino, Stone - belated feedback from Lohping. r ----------------------------------- Re: hi-fi pary on 30/3/2005 Richard Hing, Please forgive my late response, 'coz I need sometime to calm down and forget hifi. I'm grateful to join the HiFi party. Despite we didn't have the M9 amp to compare, the effort to hold the party is much appreciated. Different audio gears have various personalities, just like the old Chinese saying"濃妝淡抹總相宜", subject to due matching. Among the power amps, I like the KT66 based ones, which had a charm of its own, inter alia, Leak TL 12.1 w/o resistive input. The Tannoys also contributed a great deal to the event. Anyway, please send my regards to NEC who provided such an opportunity for me to participate, enjoying his warm hospitality besides wonderful music. Regards Lohping |
