But I have not hear this myself. |

| [#5295] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user Tim, We have 4 guys visiting Excel's master Yu yesterday to try the Graaf GM20 driving Maggie 12 and Eggleton bookshelf using the AVID turntable as front end source. Well, not impressive to any of us. Perhaps will bring my 15 ohm 3/5a to give the Graaf another trial later. Have tried the Marantz 8B and Mcintosh 240, both are good amp driving the 3/5 good but frankly speaking, not heart-touching enough to me. That's why I am tempted to try out the Leak after reading all these related threads. Hope you and Ginger can help. Dennis |

| [#5298] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user diytfy hing, I remember this brand! I was hanging around in some hifi shop and this AVID speakers beat all those AR, Bose, ESS, Fairfax... Couldn't remember the model but is it a US company? I vaguely recall AVID speakers always get very high score in US Consumer Guide magazine. I think the AVID TT in Excel is a British company. Not sure if it's the same company as the speaker co. |
