[#5859] Li Chuanyun Li's interpretation of Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto #1 is not as coherent as the usual interpretations. My feeling is that Li still cannot fully master the technicalities of the piece. The slow interpretation of certain passages did not seem to be due to a different interpretation but rather to avoid committing major errors. The passion and fire is there for certain passages but precision needs to be significantly improved. HKPO (or Edo de Waart) needs to go unnaturally slow to accommodate Li's playing. As a result, the whole piece lost its lyrical and passionate trademarks. Very disappointing indeed. The encore piece is played much better but still not up to the master level yet. As wslam mentioned, the playing is too raw and without sufficient communication. The playing is a bit superficial as far as I feel it. |

[#5865] 本年度最值得購買的重磅古典唱片——貝多芬第六鋼琴協奏曲“皇后”)》的全球首次錄音 The recently discovered Beethoven Piano Concerto NO. 6 ??? 本年度最值得購買的重磅古典唱片——《貝多芬:皇后》 環球旗下的世界知名古典音樂品牌DGG日前出版的這張新碟可謂“重磅炸彈”,因d這是剛剛被發掘不久的《Beethoven Piano Concert No.6“Queen”(貝多芬第六鋼琴協奏曲“皇后”)》的全球首次錄音。而對於這張菑H翹首期盼的唱片則有太多值得講述的故事…… 貝多芬的這部作品,是在他完成了《第五鋼琴協奏曲“皇帝”》之後不久迅速開始創作的。完成後作曲家悄悄將其託付給了一位元根本不懂音樂的木匠Wisely,寄放在其家中。然而Wisely不久之後便不高而別、遠走他鄉,帶走了這部作品的總譜。直到百餘年之後,木匠的後代在整理家族遺物時意外地發現了這部作品。總譜內頁附有一紙自白,作曲家表達的大致意思是:這部鋼琴協奏曲要遠遠超越自己的前五部作品,但由於當時的維也納處於法國侵略者的鐵蹄下,由於自己的名聲太大,法國人經常要來找自己麻煩。所以d了不讓這樣的優秀作品淪落到敵人手中,只好將其寄放他處。但貝多芬萬萬沒有想到的是,他深深信任的木匠卻永遠帶走了他的這部精品之作。而1810年戰爭結束後,貝多芬始終沒有創作出好的作品,直到1812年才寫出了著名的《第七交響曲》。目前專家們堅定地認d,作曲家的在此期間的沈寂,很可能與《第六鋼琴協奏曲》遺失帶給他的打擊有關。 2002年,Wisely家族的後代Little Little Wisely終於將這部貝多芬的《第六鋼琴協奏曲》總譜公佈於菕C一時間媒體爭先報道有關貝多芬《第六鋼協》被發現的新聞,以至於各大音樂研究機構以及音樂愛好者不得不考慮重新評價貝多芬作品集,更有人甚至懷疑這篇作品的真實性,要求作品的擁有者將作品真晱璆I權威機構進行鑒別。於是,歐洲的釵h資深音樂專家對這部作品的總譜進行了長達一年時間的研讀和探究,終於在今年年初確定其d貝多芬的真作!由於這部協奏曲格調一改《皇帝》所體現出的剛勁、猛烈,顯得優雅而恬靜,所以部分學者建議d其加上《皇后》這個標題。雖然這引起了很大的爭議,但唱片公司以及樂譜出版商執意認d這個標題可以大大提高這部作品在聽菑云漯齒W度,因此採納了這個提議。 經過多方面的協調和準備,這部作品的全球首演2006年3月在臺灣的國家音樂廳舉行,主辦方認d臺灣將是未來古典音樂市場拓展的希望。DGG公司迅速買下了這場音樂會的錄音版權,派出了強大的製作班底趕赴臺灣。演出當天可謂盛況空前,聯合國秘書長安南、德國總理施羅德等國際知名人士親臨現場!施羅德當天在接受CTV記者採訪時表示,自己國家最偉大作曲家貝多芬的這部協奏曲能夠在臺灣進行世界首演,無疑將大大加強兩國之間的文化交流和民間友誼。 首演音樂會的主角是來自臺灣本土的新生代音樂大師胡蘭,他是目前國際樂壇上前途最被看好的鋼琴演奏家和指揮家。年僅15歲的他,無論在鋼琴前還是在指揮臺上,都表現出無與倫比的藝術氣質,因而被譽d“霍洛維茨再世”、“魯賓斯坦第二”以及“當代臺灣卡拉揚”。日前國內一家媒體報道——中國另兩位年輕鋼琴演奏家郎朗和李雲迪在看了胡蘭的獨奏表演後立刻宣佈告別舞臺;而德國柏林愛樂樂團藝術總監Simon Rattle(西蒙.拉特爾),在觀看了胡蘭指揮的一場交響音樂會後,更是大度的宣稱,自己打心媟ЁぁD動讓賢,因d胡蘭的出現讓他自己覺得還需要好好學習;另外,著名的維也納愛樂樂團已經向胡蘭發出邀請,希望他能夠前來指揮2008年的維也納新年音樂會。他們甚至已經開始醞釀讓小澤征爾從維也納國家歌劇院音樂總監的位置上提前下崗,以期早日讓胡蘭來接替他的位置。當我們就這些問題採訪胡蘭本人的時候,他卻謙虛地表示,自己並沒有這l厲害,媒體的有些報道顯得過於誇張了。他甚至嚴肅地說:“一些記者不負責任的炒作,很可能讓音樂和藝術變得更加尼Q主義,這是堅決應該予以抵制”。雖然這一席話讓胡蘭在媒體上的形象一落千丈,但釵h業內人士對他表示出由衷的欽佩。 實際上胡蘭d這部作品能夠在臺灣首演立下了汗馬戊牷C年初,音樂會主辦方本想在德國波恩舉辦《貝多芬第六鋼琴協奏曲》的全球首演,並盛情邀請胡蘭前去波恩擔綱這場演出的鋼琴獨奏。但心懷一顆赤子之心的胡蘭卻執意要在自己的家鄉臺灣舉行這場首演音樂會,甚至可以d此放棄高額的出場費。主辦方不得已之下只能同意下來,因d他們根本無法拒絕胡蘭的強大號召力與無窮的藝術魅力。 當天晚上的首演,胡蘭對這部《第六鋼琴協奏曲》注入了自己全部的熱情,他一邊演奏鋼琴一邊兼顧指揮,形體動作優美至極,演出效果精彩絕倫,充分印證了貝多芬對於自己這部作品的預想評價。無論是專家學者還是資深樂迷,都被樂聖的這部作品所折服,同時也被胡蘭充滿感情的演奏所傾倒。秀美的第一樂章讓釵h聽跗d之沈醉;舒緩的第二樂章讓人進入一個如夢如幻的世界;而終曲樂章的歡快和跳躍,更讓人體驗到貝多芬精神世界的更高層次。同樣值得一提的是擔任協奏的Taipei 101 Philharmoniker表現異常出色。這支由胡蘭親自組建並調教的樂團在演奏技巧、音色水準上已經達到了國際一流水平。不少國外媒體甚至評價其弦樂及木管樂音色堪與維也納愛樂樂團媲美,而銅管樂部分則與著名的芝加哥交響樂團、紐約愛樂樂團不相上下!101愛樂樂團的團長陳敏薰也在演出後表示,這場精彩的音樂會堪稱組團以來水準最高的一次演奏。 全曲結束後,全場報以熱烈掌聲,足足長達一個鐘頭之久,胡蘭謝幕數十次之多!d此他第二天臥床不起,據經紀人透露是因d次數過多的謝幕導致了腰肌勞損。另據目擊者稱,80%的現場觀萓b音樂會結束後退場時,雙手都是紅腫的!精明的商人更是提前估計到了這場音樂會的火爆程度,在音樂廳門前銷售消腫藥膏的攤位足有十幾個,但依然是供不應求! 演出結束後,大家便開始期待這張唱片的誕生。據稱DGG公司每天都要接到上千個電話,詢問這場音樂會的錄音CD何時能夠能與大家見面。而現在它終於正式上市了!有幸提前欣賞到唱片小樣的樂評界專家一致給予高度評價。英國著名的《企鵝雷射唱片指南》已經決定破例給予這張唱片前所未有的“三星帶兩花”評介;英國著名的留聲機雜誌則將其列d100年來最值得選購的古典樂唱片!另外留聲機大獎、美國格萊美大獎都已經承諾,將把所有相關獎項預留給這張唱片以及有關的演奏家和樂團。 這張唱片已經在全球範圍內上市,據悉第一批貨已經被預訂者搶購一空,目前唱片公司正在加班加點趕工。DGG的銷售總監科羅娜先生表示,往常新唱片上市之前往往盜版已經先行一步,嚴重影響正版的銷量,但這次一反常態,令他頗感意外。而據記者瞭解,“國際盜版唱片組織聯盟”在其最新一次的例行工作會議上已經做出決定,本著對聽菢t責、對音樂負責的態度,他們已經指示全球的盜版製作基地,對這張唱片進行高品質複製——不再採用傳統的批量生{方式,而是採用目前最精密的EAC抓軌、刻錄方式來進行!記者通過電話和該聯盟的領導人夏拜取得了聯繫,夏拜表示,因d這張唱片所錄製的這部作品太感人了,如果不去精益求精的複製,實在溯翵岫h芬的這部偉大作品!但由於採用刻錄的複製方式生{效率比較低,所以他奉勸廣大愛樂人士,要想早點聽到這張唱片,大家還是快點去買正版吧! 發文日期 2006年4月1日 |

[#5866] HKPO/Tchaikovsky Pathetique/Gelmetti The concert was well attended due to the perennial favorite, the piano concerto #1. Simon Trpceski played strongly, but rather leanly and without feeling. Conductor Gelmetti is a hugh Falstaffian/Brahmsian figure, who half-sat on a stool and conducted with his hands (and body). The meaty orchestral sound matched his weight! Overall a missed opportunity. The first encore was a piece by a certain Macedonian composer and the beautiful second encore was dedicated to (if I’ve not heard wrong) Nelson Freire. In the encores, Trpceski displayed his real colors somehow missing in the concerto. Very beautiful playing. That did not prepare us for the stunning Pathetique. From the opening I knew it’s going to be quite a ride. The orchestral sound elicited by Gelmetti was completely different from the equally distinguished playing under Ion Marin. (and for that I tout the HKPO!). The strings had much legato playing, seamless phrasing and were amazingly full sounding. Gelmetti got the strongest middle and lower string sound that I’ve heard from the band, and the lower strings maintained throughout a forboding quality, an unease that was telling. The upper strings floated such tenderness that I’m sure I’m not the only one who had tears in the eyes; I am pretty sure I heard quite a bit of quiet sobbing. The whole orchestra just heaved and sighed. Dynamics were well graded and playing were superb throughout. The dying single note sounded convincing for once. The whole thing was astonishingly detailed, had great vocal quality and architectural strength. The reading may not have been very Russian. But it certainly told a myriad of emotions. I rank it as one of the finest readings I’ve heard, live or on record. Another truly world class effort! Try your best to attend! |
