| [#42] Benchmark DAC2 Fans Club Just purchased Benmark DAC2 HGC at DMA (cheaper than ordered online and no shipping cost) . DSD and PCM are playing smoothly using mpd running on Cubox. All music files were hosted on a Synology NAS. Surpriseingly, it sounds so damm good right out of the box. | [#45] Benchmark DAC2 Fans Club I have no DAC1 for comparison. But I think DAC2 has the classic sound of XMOS USB with ESS9018 (very good sounding components). It seems that UltraLock2™ Jitter Attenuation System can extract additional details from the source. Overall, it is musical and refined. Internally, DAC2 is operated at a single supply of 12v.
