| [#43] iTransport from Wadia - finally, we can co I'm now having 2 sources : iTransport + DAC64, and Wadia 581SE I found that the iTransport combo provides slightly better depth than the Wadia 581SE. It provides very good instructment positioning. The Wadia 581SE provides better sound quality overall(resolution, smoothness and details etc.). But the cost of Wadia 581Se is more than double the cost of iTransport + DAC64 combo. The iTransport has not yet burned in and it is connected to the DAC64 by the cheap cheap Wadia cable which comes with the iTransport. I believe that the sound quality of the iTansport can be improved by a better digital cable and a better power supply. In short, it's a value for money product. |
