| [#44] SACD 是否將會停產？ Any high resolution format beats a CD. Even a DVD / blu-ray beats a CD with its 48/24 recording. SACD beats a CD. Too bad -- not many people can appreciate the difference -- so except in Europe, where SACD recordings are abundant for classical music recordings ( which they are best as the classical musics are complex ) There are people spending mega buck on a DAC for an Ipod but nothing, so far, can beat a fine tuned SACD player. |

| [#49] SACD 是否將會停產？ Hmmm..... SACD vs CD ratio feels like 1 : 1,000 It is extremely sad that people pays mega buck for a LPCD 45 or a XRCD and not SACD. Except in Japan and in Europe, no one in HK or USA bothers to make a pop/rock SACD. Even Danny Summer did not release a SACD version for its Um3. |

| [#50] SACD 是否將會停產？ 我個人一早也不看好SACD，若果一首歌錄音質素高，就算用CD來製作也會靚聲。同時，SACD一推出時便打@可以靚聲過普通的CD及黑膠為口號，但到了今時今日，我們看到普通CD還大行其道，而黑膠又慢慢復興。而SACD就像夕陽西下！我覺得人用耳6去欣賞音樂，是一件感性多於理性的事，一些太精準的數碼無失真的錄音制式和產品，反為壞了好事！反之現在黑膠還未被發燒友塗太，這正好說明了黑膠的失真，對音樂表達的好處！又正如發燒友喜歡聽膽機和Ls3/5a！ |

But you know few of us can afford the space of cost of 6-ch of same config (less ideal using AV amp with AV speakers) Once I play back original 3-ch mercury living presence SACD. the sound stage and imaging, impact if much improved compared with CD (especially it fill the hole between left-right speakers) I can't get what fire-dragon image related to SACD. |

| [#60] SACD 是否將會停產？ have you guys ever tested your ears, i bet very few of you can hear 15kHz or above, older the worse. you can download one from the internet. why need such high sampling, otherwise the high-end side of the signal will be ruined. however, all these are only important in the mastering process not the end product. a pcm sampling rate 48kHz is good enough for most ears. |
