一個久未能成行的約會，今早偕 Geo-024過訪一位從未謀面的 Meridian 同好-KC Lee.

KC Lee 在小西灣居處，購置我心儀己久的 active DSP6000，該有源 DSP 處理音箱，結合剛配上的 596 DVD player，展示 Meridian 完整之配搭，音樂味濃郁，KC 非玩 HiFi人士，但對能由 Meridian 全套自含 24/96 解碼及功放控制下之音箱匹配，非常憧憬。Geo-024 與我們也異常期待 DSP6000 與 598+568.2mm 配合上，有何等之表現

不負所望，長居 Sterofile Class A 榜多年，海外玩家景仰之 Meridian 組合，充份發揮音樂重播之精髓，令人心醉。

Geo-024 與我認同如此 front end，配以夠班之有源組合，重播音樂，己是令人再無所求，簡單容易的配搭，己是好聲的保証，我倆馬上回家把組合連上他己擁有 Studer 723 active 3 way speaker 及我自己的 Revox Aguara 3 way 4 speaker active speaker，試下能否比之 Meridian 全套西裝，有如斯脫俗之表現。

其實我一直未明，好聲如 Meridian，為何 Excel 不能賣到一如歐美海外，聲名顯赫，反之只一味懂賣幾個 CD player，Excel 之低能，可以想見，其衰敗之日，將不難見。（別超余雖盛名，又有何能！）

要調變音色，Meridian 似對優質電源線，極其敏感，我一直都是以變換電源線，得到所要音色，今日在家訪中，更益明顯，令主人家及我們都大表訝異。

最後我們評論 KC 組合，能有望提升多少，老實說，我個人主觀意見，仍有大把在手，如再添點 Dynamic punch，又不知是何景界

如此組合，真可算近年家訪中一大驚喜

也不能說Excel無能，事實上香港市場細，強手林立，選擇眾多。

Meridian產品外型設計並不討好，非人人可接受，功能及表現不屬超班而價位亦不討好。

我使用Meridian產品已超過10年，只有一位相識朋友使用500及566，其他大多不識此牌子或不喜其外相，因與其他組合不配襯，持別是早期產品大多是黑媽媽，外型縮窄五份之二，極不討好。

每地流行產品不同，不能強求。假如Meridian產品在香港極流行的話，我們將要付出更多。

既巳換了代理，看它有何把砲改頭換臉。

Meridian 外觀是否討好，愚見實在見仁皆智，外國喜其一件件骰仔似叠在一起，有很 hi-tech 感

Excel 之敗在懶，Meridian 不像一般組合，除 CD player 外，一插上電源便開聲，在在需要細心研究 setup，Meridian 才會一點一滴回報結你

以香港 Hi end salesman 之低能、懶及大鼻，又有幾許心思去細讀 Manual？旗下代理品牌一多，難有心思花在 Meridian 類產品上

玩Meridian 係需一點修養，有一回，我出讓一部 562V，買家從愉景灣遠道而來，是位海外僑居香港人士，二話不說，操作上，比我要熟識得多，到我醒覺該前級解碼如此好聲之際，己被買家抬走了！
