| [#45] KEF LS50 This morning I connected the LS50 with a small T-Amp 15wx2 and keep playing Internet radio at medium volume while out for work for a little bit more break in, it's not very demanding for playing at causal listening level, but if you need to play music with high dynamic range just like me played Lastnight, a good, high power amplifier still required. Samuel, maybe you can pay a visit to KEF CWB showroom, Arcam Solo system also available there, you can ask them to connect them together for trial. |

| [#52] KEF LS50 Today started to play some High Resolution material like Reference Recording HRx and 2L Studio Master with real big dynamic range for some big impact, but I still connected to the small T-amp for cooler operation. What I can conclude for 2 1/2 days of use, the first day is really difficult, even the speaker not sound harsh, but really hard to open up it sound so when I driven by 100W x 2 Amplifier still feel the power is not enough, but start from Day 2 I'm using T-amp and internet radio for continuous yet gentle break in, then the speakers not really that hard to drive. I also played a few instrument solo, including guitar, the effect of 離箱 can be made easily, positioning is very very strong area of this speaker! | [#53] KEF LS50 唔該 hercules 兄. 這隻碟是一隻 Jazz Quintet. 第 3 track (Dirty Blue) 及 第 5 track (Tough Chic), Phil Woods 的 Tenor Saxophone 變了作主角. 有經驗響某些機播放, Sax 完全攬埋其他友一舊拆唔開 (Makowicz - panio, M Johnson - acoustic bass, Bill Goodwin - drums etc). 如果 LS50 響師兄度在一定音量之下拆得開幾條友一清二楚 (但 Tenor Sax 不能拆到叫), 咁就恭喜師兄入手了好喇叭兼響師兄度玩得這喇叭好. |
