| [#47] Daphile - Another Squeezebox Replacement Finally get it singing. Was a bit confused which player to choose at the beginning. Strange to see AMR (the spdif-usb interface) showing up but this is the one that gives sound. I guess HDA Intel is the internal soundcard of the Lenovo so no luck with that. On the update prompt issue. I guess Beeos is right as I boot my Daphile from usb stick instead of local installation on hdd.  |

| [#48] Daphile - Another Squeezebox Replacement Since the screen shuts down automatically and not needing that, I just fold it down and unplug the psu so the whole gig is run on battery for a few hours. I choose to run the media server on my NAS as usual so unplugging Touch and plugging in Lenovo Atom is "almost" a matter of cable change. Except you have to select at Web Ui to run external server and key in the ip address of your NAS. This ip be found out from the iPeng app  |

| [#50] Daphile - Another Squeezebox Replacement I think if u can find out the ip of your nas it may work that way. I want to know if u can succeed setting it up this way. Keep us update. U need to set up your daphile computer as wifi hotspot otherwise there is no way you can control it if u want to throw away router/switch, it being a headless player. I am intetested in kmowing too. |

| [#54] Daphile - Another Squeezebox Replacement Ok..…可以暫時作個總結，是這樣的： 以全套iFi power filter+ iFi spdif interface 來講，我很喜歡Daphile pc with linear 12v時的聲，也一樣喜歡Lenovo Atom notebook runs Daphile的聲…同樣地也一樣喜歡從Squeezebox Touch 出來的聲。我自己說不出那個比這個有什麼不同幾多%,幾乎分不出來。我相信獨立來看應該3種的jitter 及power noise 是會有不同的，但當經過iUsb Powerplant 重組5v power, 再經iLink的超低jitter Asynchronous usb-spdif 轉換，再經過我部dac內的特殊ultra low jitter spdif receiver 線路, 3種平臺最後的分別都比「洗」得一乾二浄，結果目耳分不出來。但有一樣肯定：以聲音質素加方便性，我不會回頭玩cd 機。 |
