AQCD no comparison to SACD la... During the AV show concept, Terence demonstrated one of your tracks - using a Korg DSD recorders - the sound was full dynamic range, no stress, it was just like live music playing in front of us - that was not anything CD can reproduce.

Anyhow, to ask Modernaudio make a SACD for this very small niche market is a stretch, but I hope you can make the DSD tracks downloadable, so that we can make a DSD SACD ourselves. We are willing to pay for it. That would be nice.

Once you hear my DSD master source, you must be "poisioned" by the high sound quality it provided. Just like once you taste a very good red-wine, you can't go back for the cheap one.

However, our company has not any plan yet to release our DSD source for purchasing.

Just for curious, do you already own a DSD player such as Korg in order to play DSD track?

you can use ps3 or xa5400es to play dsd files. or u can use korg's software AudioGate to play on PC - but will output pcm as most pc soundcard use pcm out.

All I have is a decent SACD player + a bunch of SACD's -- no Korg recorder yet.

Of course, Terence's demo, only 1 track, shows what a DSD master can do. I was extremely fortunate that I could hear the difference during the show - I told my friends besides me that it was "live" music played by a bunch of enthusiastic spirited musicians - no CD could show that feeling. My eyes & ears were astonishingly wide-open ^_^. Too bad there is no SACD release.

mp3 now is majority, but the quality is bad, so audio industry is a niche market, price range from a hundred DVD player to Millions system have it's customers and market, as long as user is here, and market is sustainable.
