According to Google search on URL: https://www.google.com/#q=URL A URL is one type of Uniform Resource Identifier (URI); the generic term for all types of names and addresses that refer to objects on the World Wide Web. The term "Web address" is a synonym for a URL that uses the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. If I picture is stored in a computer not known to the world wide web, there will not be any URL to the picture store in the computer. Hope that make sense. Love to help. |
