Are you the friend referred by my friend ? Thank you for your comments on the gain. Have you tried other gain as well ? What are the results then ? |

| [#65] Jeff Rowland 同好會 No, I am not in Hunghom. I tried 12 dB, the treble is getting coarse. I think 6 dB is safe, many pre use 6 dB. It's very difficult to find a PC for Synergy, actually the original was quite good. Magic gem ... I don't know how to describe, once you tried it, you just need to put one in the sytsem, it's very analytical, defined, slightly warm mid. I have no experience with NBS. Happy listening. |

| [#68] Jeff Rowland 同好會 emc1, I tried G5, very open and sweat but the sweatness is not my cup of tea. Python was too close in. I used to put Level 1 in slightly, transparent and balance, better than the original cable. No experience with Transparent. I have no experience with SR. If you only listen to Choi Kam or Jazz, you will not notice much of VDM will bring you. If you listen to classic, especially orchestra, you just have to get your wallet ready. An IC that will bring you fuller body of music. |
