Olympia Vox Speaker Arguably one of the most beautiful speaker around. I am sure they sound like sin also.

Any idea in the RS-100 and RS-100U in the context of taking the place of the passive pre on the CS600? Which from my understanding is the weakest link of the CS600? In other words is it worth adding a RS-100 or U to a CS600?

Hello leben hing, Have you by-pass the volume of CS660P? I've read from the web that will improve the performance a lot.

Things are going better and better everyday. The background is much more silent then using the cs600's pre. Similar to comment from Jeff day and Taiwan magazine, it makes ' music ' sounds better and more enjoyable.

Hi mr-chan, Bypassing the Alp pot on the 660P adds a lot to the sound. I would 200% advice this to be undertaken. What a cheap upgrade!

[#70] 日本LEBEN 膽機同好會 mountain.smith, I did not know you had Leben and the Weiss202 (Had the same earlier, i.e. CS660P + 202)... (I bought the acoustic revive from you at the Hung Hom bridge)...

Hi Leben, I know we have similar equipment. :D When you were using the 660P, you use 202 as preamp? Heard from agentsmittie that you are using lavardin right now, how is it?

Hi MS, Yes the Leben has left these shores. Not for any sonic reasons but for a change.. The Lavardin IT is very dynamic, with pop music this shines with my Living Voice Speaker. My other Sophia Electric 91-05 integrated amp is also keeping pace and making choice between the two very difficult. Music is winning.

[#77] 日本LEBEN 膽機同好會 i'll chip in with my experiences on rs100 after spending a month with it. i've owned for the cs600 for 4 years during which i played with various output tubes. for the last 2 years i added a mostly passive w4s preamp which brought more control and dynamics to the sound w/o changing the tone of the amp. i didn't expect much as there's only 3 tubes in the leben preamp BUT adding it created BIG difference to my surprise. i'd say the leben true character or house sound emerges with the combo, and it's very different from the amp alone i assure you (for i've lived with the amp for so many years). like its little tag on the front plate you get "a motion sound". in short, everything sounds real once you turn up the volume and forget about all hifi details. i am favorably impressed by the sound of piano, drums, and guitar plucks, these just 'pop' out like the sound really originates from the air (meaning musician in the room). of course vocal is addictive and real. but if a lot of synthesizers are used like in some electronic/techno, the sound can sound a little loose and soft, different from those disco bass which is hard like stone, so look elsewhere if you want to feel like in club beijing everyday. i'll wrap up with a jazz concert i went last month, it was a piano trio from poland. when the first note hit, i was a bit overwhelmed...becoz the tone pretty much was what i had at home! of course i could not match the scale and power of live music. but tonewise it wasn't off by much. i bought the artist cd after the show and played it afterward at home, and my impressions were confirmed, yes leben brings live music!
