| [#61] Lenco Club de HONG KONG and it is not difficult to add 6 tiny piece of magnet and hall senors to build a feedback control speed controller ( may be someone had done it too), especially after add 2nd platter , make things even easier for dynamic balance the overall spinning platters ( if we really care ) what if....the 2nd platter is at 15 inches...etc... don't have to be same diameter too, and it make a lot of sense too |

| [#64] Lenco Club de HONG KONG Double platter or any heavy platters could potentially alter the speed incorrectly. Nigel, a member from Lencoheaven, has developed the speed controller and you can find out the details from the following link: https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/index.php?topic=13981.0 I am sure Master HaHa should be able to figure out the whole idea. Apart from the speed controller I would just use the good old fashion method by checking speed with this strobe speed disc. Since the motor speed is driven by the motor shaft and it is linear so the speed change is gradual. You can correct the speed and mark it on the speed selector for next use. Our group made nearly 20 of such controller and some used them for other AC motor TTs too like 301, 401, Cuemaster... if you search some commercial speed controllers they cost a bomb! @fotheringay, manual adjust is good but the speed controller has a variable voltage output so lessen the vibration of the motor. @hahayanyan, get the lenco first and do the speed controller later. you can mount a bare bone Lenco on cola cans without the wooden plinth and it will sound a lot better than many TTs in the market....but your YMMV... I seriously recommend all Lenco users to get the Malaysian's spindle bearing! Buy in groups to save shipping cost. |

Absolutely mind-blowing! I don't wanna restrict myself to one style of 'music' playback.
