| [#82] etsang3 - WAV好聲過FLAC Its meaningless to say there is a difference between flac and wav without specifying the CAS/system used. I see many hi end (non PC) CAS only specify the dac chip used and how high the quality of power supply but no info on the core processor used. Some of them looks like they just use a system on a chip to control the whole thing. IMO, the core processing chip and software is as important as (IMO, more important than) the dac or power supply. If there is a difference between wav and flac, then I wonder how powerful is the processor or software that process the flac. As in the end, they will sent same the same pcm data to the dac. |
