Haha I like the I get a linear arm one of those technics I like to get a Braun idler I like some b&o I like to get a thorens 124 or a kenwood copy I like 2 particular Garrard the 301 and the zero series I do like a Voyd 3 motor For beginner.. I goes for technics 1200 or 1600 mk 2 Kenwood kd990 A micro DD8 A luxman Pd belt drive with other arm With some luck may be a fully restored Lenco 75 Sonically the kenwood may sound for a boarder choices of music It is far more than a beginner table.. Haha for me they can be forever Haha |

If you have chance to audit those vintage or modern highend direct drive, you may have a different opinion. For low cost entry turntable, belt drive always have the advantage, as it is hoard to build a decent direct drive with low cost circuit and component. |
