| [#81] SACD & 24bit/96hz file 的比較 instead of trillion harddisks why not to buy 1 or 2 1TB hard discs. I think it could save much space ha ha. DSD5,6MHz masters on hard drive are probably not a bad thing, one can have the best sound quality at home and the conversion from 5.6MHz to 16/44,1 (for ipod use) is really just one quick step as DSD5,6MHz format uses 128x44,1kHz sampling rate and downlsamples naturally to 16/44,1kHz pcm format. ----------------------------------- Yes, not bad thing, you spend more time to process the files rather than listening music. If SACD production cost should be cheaper as you said, I can't see any reason to purchase an reissue recording as unreasonable as HK$ 250-350,the cost and input expense of new recording should be more than remastering old recording because of royalty issue.
