| [#1030] Linn club ............ Majik Isobarik is seldom recent LINN speaker that can be used as partial aktiv. | [#1035] Linn club ............ Idonn't think you can get any good bass from Kan or LS3/5a. I know some 'hi hand' can but I don't think they are designed to give much bass. get morden or big speakers for bass. don't try, the attractive thing that make KAN musical is becuase of its rather rolled off bass, think about how it sounds if it has lots of bass. | [#1036] Linn club ............ As mda said in the 3/5A thread, the Kan I is better placed close to wall. If you prefer to have it out in the room, get it close to the side walls. Away too much from the walls and the sound easily gets lean. What is your placement? And what power tubes are you using? If it's Russian 5881 the sound is lean. |

| [#1038] Linn club ............ I means the kans no need output 8"or 10" bass. I only need it can output 4.5"or 5" bass. As before I play the track at my Dali Rayal MKIII have enough bass, but now using the Kans cannot provide eoungh bass at same track! |

| [#1040] Linn club ............ Well, it is hard to say. Integrated tube amps usually lack punch. I use it with my Linn Majik I integrated and the match is of course good. The Kan I has very clean and lean bass, but maybe that is not your cup of tea. And it doesn't reach very low. |

| [#1041] Linn club ............ Kan just wouldn't reach low, and its learn and the treble is very clear shouty at times. That's waht make it speical, makes it sound fast, groovy, but it also sounds like mono radio at times. if you undertstand the KANs you will be able to like it, if you try look for the missing sound, you will never be happy. the Kans are easy to drive my amp has only 15w and its very loud! 最後修改時間: 2012-09-11 11:54:22 |

| [#1045] Linn club ............ "I assume that the Kans & 3/5a are same style so I was bought it! " sorry to hear that, they are quite differenent tho they look very similar with same driver. They played tricks with the cross over. if you listen carefully 3/5a is quite speical taht the tweeter is handling lots of mid range sound, its not common, but it made ppl loved it. the Kan has a more 'normal' crossover point. my feeling only, i am not expert. bass level is similar. 3/5a make you feel it has more bass becuase it has a warmer and slower sound. what sort of bass are you looking for? i find them both good enough to present me with the bassline and allow me to follow the bass player or double bass but NO if you want the double bass to sound like real or if you want the bass drum to sound like in front of you,sorry, they can't give you that feeling,. 最後修改時間: 2012-09-11 14:01:05 |
