| [#10495] Tannoy 同好會 It did state "Designed, Engineered and Manufactured in the United Kingdom" and so I would say it must be done "in" the UK. That said it doesn't necessary mean the whole item is made in the UK completely. It is impossible since one speaker composes of many parts which could be imported from overseas. If you extend by definition it could mean that the finished speaker could be imported back to the UK as uncompleted materials. All they need may be just putting the last coat of varnish, or screwing the units to the box, or wrapping the speaker and packing into the box. Of course it is purely my speculation and I can't say for sure. |
