| [#1245] ETSC & ETRC & ESAC Members (44) Excellent Condition One Owner One of the finest tube tuners / preamps ever made Highly desirable "Z" serial Number - #893Z1 Champagne/Gold color front panel Tubes are original Telefunken (11) and McIntosh (6) Includes desirable McIntosh 6D10 Panloc chassis and the brackets it mounts onto All text on both exterior and chassis is in excellent shape (mint) Owner's Manual included (reproduction) This unit is a fine example of the famous McIntosh MX-110 Tube Stereo Tuner/Preamplifier. It had one owner it's entire life up until now. I removed it from the original custom wall cabinet that was built for the original owner. It was in working condition when it was removed along with the matching McIntosh 225 amp (not included). The unit is in great condition and has no scratches on the face plate or the metal surfaces. There is one small scratch at the very top of the black molding where a wood case would meet the face of the unit. It is at the extreme top above where the dial indicates FM channel 95. The interior is in excellent shape as can be seen in the photos below. It is hard to photograph because there is so much reflected light from both the exterior and the metal chassis. The only notable problem is that one of the 2 posts that the balance control knob fits onto has been broken off and is lost. This is not visible with the knob attached and could be replaced if you desire to restore that aspect. Additional photos at: www.pblocal.com/mcintosh |
