Just back from China and see your meesage!

The Gain is only 30, 40, 46, 60, 70db, imp is 47K, 100ohm, 82ohm, no other choice.

I think like they should make it like the germany gear, that they have a Volume contorl on the gain, do you think it is very difficult to make it?

So try a 82 Ohm at 46 dB.

Add a gain control at variable maybe possible but strong not advise, it will introduce distortion and sound is not good too, a VR never sound as good as a single value component.

And I finished the DIY power amp lastnight... a little warmer...

I 've been using Ortofon SPU A cartridge with Klyne Sk2 headamp for long.

Wanna change to Ortofon transformer to replace the Klyne. Anyone can advise me which model is suitable?
