First time CAS set-up questions:

1) I now have a NAS =＞ should I set it up as a Twonky server?

2) When it's connected to a network player / DAC (which is also DLNA compliant) , do I need to set it up as a Twonky server?

3) My limited understanding is that I need a 'play' program like iTunes, Amara, Foobar2000 etc to read and play / decode the files. Is this Twonky server providing the 'play' service or just the 'read and send' (or so-called 'streaming') service to the DAC to output to analog domain?

4) Also, I just realized my network player does not support AIFF file format - Is the program that 'plays' the files reside with the NAS Twonky server service? Or is this a 'play' program compatibility with the network player / DAC issue?

5) I use iTunes for ripping and manage the iphone and all files are in AIFF as it is lossless and support easily the cover pix and airplay and to use with iPad. What advice can C-hing be so kind to share in my situation. I have more than 11k songs.

My NAS has the Twonly server enabled but it only display non-1411kbps music files, such as AAC 128 / 256 kbps and MP3 songs. However, if I go to by folder, all the albums and songs are in there. Did I miss or mess up any setting? Thanks for the help and advice!

內置電，應該是指用usb incoming 5v DC supply, 因為個digital source 可能用smps, 連帶5v usb 輸出都是。如果用外置，可以俾個5v LPS, 音效更好。强国一般DDC都有5V外置輸入
