| [#14] Pioneer Pure Malt Speaker Ksuen I bought a pair two days ago. It ran about 15 hours now. It sounds good (Should be excellent for its price.) Till now, best in playing violin and female vocals. But the mid-base to base is a bit thin. But when I heard it in Elite show room, the base was OK. I think the base will be better after run-in. I think it would be the best buy for its price range. |

| [#18] Pioneer Pure Malt Speaker Update on Pure Malt performance. Run-in time about 40 hours now. Last night, I continued to burn the speaker. It was playing Midori. My wife suddenly said that the violin sounded so real. My wife has grade 8 violin and she is helping my daughter in preparing violin grade 6 exam. They attended many violin concerts this year. I think she know the real violin sound so well. So, I believe her comment is a good reference. And I agree with her the violin is really sounded so good. For vocals, especially female vocals, it sounds so sedative. Not just warm. It's very musical. There is improvement in mid-base now, but the base is still a bit thin. I believe there should be quite a numbers of pure malt users. What' s their opinion? |

But we still need to face the truth, in my system pure malt is more muscial and liveness when playback violin, guitar and female vocals. Once these were the strength of tablette. (The reason why I keep it so long). |

BTW, at that time I saw a lot of good hifi gears there at very cheap prices than in HK: Acoustic Revive, Acrolink, TAOC, Nespa, Oyaide, Elekit and certainly the Pioneer S-A4SPT-PM speakers. |
