ESS may need further revision their DAC for native DSD output (e.g. Burr Brown PCM1792 also accept DSD input. | [#34] oppo 95 ES9018 DAC 硬解 DSD: The I2S and DSD are clocked data streams, they do not require the method used by the SPDIF interface, but they result in the same thing: similar to the output of the SPDIF decoder, at a certain asynchronous time, they present to the downstream processor the new bit or word from the interface. Rather than trying to lock a PLL to the data rate of this interface signal, the Sabre DSP uses the arrival time of the data as a gating signal for the first part of the processing. Specifically, we now need to apply a filter to the digital data – we must remove the image that will be created when we up-sample the data to our much higher clock rate. | [#32] oppo 95 Thanks pathwonghk hing, 我吾係行內人, 只係鍾意玩而已. SONY 同 Philips 都已經放棄 SACD (可能過左十年版權專利), CXD2753R 呢兩三年既新機都好少見到. MT8531 係一粒廉價萬用 BD 晶片, 可以軟解 DSD。 以 BDP-95 為例, 用家可以選擇由 MT8531 軟解 DSD 或者由 ES9018 DAC 硬解 DSD. |

| [#31] oppo 95 我以為Yuppi 兄是行內人? 我已經off IC 這個field 很長時間所以我沒有更新資料。所以新的IC資料我都不敢說。 MT8531 這顆我不熟，反而MK1389我很熟。還玩過改source code. 所以我不知MT8531可以硬解DSD。 所以"SONY 晨早賣左 SACD 技術同版權" 我真的沒有這方便的資料。 我可能比較Purist, 我覺得所謂正宗Consumer DSD 係需要經 SONY DSD CXD2753R CXD2753R 除了可以硬解SACD之外，還有一樣比較少人提起的是 Sony 利用這顆IC更正相位的問題。而這項技術又不是Sony 所擁有，只是它可以使用。記憶中是NS 擁有這個技術，但現在是誰擁有就不清楚了。MT8531 有沒有帶入這種東西就真的不知道了。 很大部份的DAC現在這做法是將DSD internal 轉pcm 先去R2R後出analog。不過亦有直接 DSD engine 去R2R後出analog。 如果有興趣睇各間IC Technical paper必會發現這點。 |
