[#62] Lampizator level 4 DAC Although I'm not an DIYer, but years of listening experience to all levels of audio equipments lead me to believe that the inside and outside looks of an equipment could give you a rather deceiving picture. My understanding is that it is EXACTLY people with attitude like Lampizator who prefers to " THINK OUT OF A BOX ", could have a chance to achieve something dramatically advance in performance. Like all of you, I have followed CD development for many years, to me the development is slow in the sense that digital reproduction never really moved me away from LP, not until Lampizator DAC. His products, to me, are so successful (I mean music reproduction but not as a commercial product), why? I think it is to a large extend his attitude in designing audio equipments, he challenges traditional thinking and commercial products manufacturing process and he DOES NOT follow traditional approaches and most of the routes or perceived value mentioned in the DIYAUDIO forum, and that is also why his products looks are perceived to be inferior. Sure those guys in DIYAUDIO are very experienced and some of them must be masters but it isn't fair to so negatively comment a product WITHOUT first listen to it. If these guys care enough to find an opportunity to have a listen first, everything will become so easy and straight forward. thanks icefox for the link.... |

[#61] Lampizator level 4 DAC Hoo, eyes-opening, flame handled with class!!!! Thumbs up! -- Hi everyone. Normally I dont jump on forums because I poorly handle flame wars, as a buddist who has nothing but love and compassion for other people. But some explanation would be in place. Mr Sy seems to be very knowledgeable master, a mentor, who wrote quote: "unit that looks like it was vomited from a junk-box, then had the parts rearranged by a palsied lemur," Thats a very interesting and productive comment. I had a good laugh. Thats like a new way of saying "I am an ignorant and I judge other peoples work in electronics by looking at the parts if they are lied out neatly". What did I do to this gentlemen to trigger his flames? Did I cheat? Step on his toe ? Offend him ? I guess not. Maybe it is that people do not understand the electrical concepts we follow ? I know about EMC quite a lot and I know about neat construction too. We choose to wire point to point and not use PCB. We choose NOT to bundle wires which are better separated. We choose the parts that are best for the job and many users praise the sonic results. There are very specific reasons why we must use wooden blocks in a particular place and why we use three-dimensional point to point wiring and we do not disrespect EMC compatibility. In fact I am EMC specialist and I have done more professional EMC tests and approvals than all participants in this forum combined. So I dont know why we are accused of violations that nobody has any proof or grounds for. Mr Sy and Mr Marce enjoy criticizing our work , based on just looking at the picture or two and never hearing or testing our gear. Maybe they find it amusing but I dont know why it will remain on internet forever to repell all our customers who google Lampizator. Neither of them even bothered to email us and simply ask questions and get explanations. Who knows maybe their valid remarks would be taken into manufacturing practice. But it is so much easier to use vomit analogies and pretend to be a guru. I think I am wasting my time even writing this. HAve a good day. Lukasz Fikus owner and designer at Lampizator. |

[#57] Lampizator level 4 DAC hi leben, lampi announced l7 in his facebook, not sure he has fixed the price yet. lampi is NOT a businessman , he is more a music lover, so dont count on speedy response from him, fererro may be able to put you on the right track.... bulk order is a good idea, we are still eagerly waiting for 3 streamers from him.... no idea how long we need to wait.... |

[#56] Lampizator level 4 DAC Hi Welborne, Your comments on the Lampizator baffle speaker made me look at what he had. I must say very interesting. That does throw your system into an interesting spin... Hi Ferraro, You are right, Lampizator is almost non-responsive to emails - so why bother with him? If more of us are interested, there is other ways we can get the units and possibly with some marginal discount. Please shout! |

[#51] Lampizator level 4 DAC " ........this lampizator thread reall draws high-handed c-hing to talk! I always believe there are so many unsounded high-hand but reluctant to express just to avoid being attacked by $$-writers and their followers who boost that gears performance is in proportion with the price tag....." Com-buddy C Hing, couldn't agree more to your statement ..... I feel so privileged to have "high-hand" C hing like you and all the others to share their views. To clarify, I for one, is NOT a "high hand", Ecc31 is another one, thanks for uploading the photo for me Ecc31 hing. I feel like I have kinapped this thread, sorry to the original owner of this thread ........ |

[#50] Lampizator level 4 DAC " .....Despite this is a DAC thread, c-hing's analogue rig is definitely more eye catching than the DAC to an old-school mate like me. May I ask, what is the tonearm used for the Strain Gauge cart? Which model of the Strain Gauge that you use with? It looks like a Reed arm ......." Well done, icefox 2001 hing! You are certainly another "high-hand" C hing in this thread with very sharp eyes! This Reed 3P tonearm is a damn good one! The only down side is that its weight is too heavy for the exceptionally low mass (less than 4g) of my 451CII SG cartridge, I have to pull out the weight and use a battery to make it work temporary. My Strain Gauge is a full valve version as oppose to the Sounsmith's one, this Strain Gauge cartridge sounds to me, once it is setup properly and burnt in, as if it is from out of this world, its musicality, directness and true to life presentation throw me out of my seat and ....... You're welcome to auditon but ... see below |

[#44] Lampizator level 4 DAC icefox_2001 hing, 音樂大師 turntable is one of the MIC gaint-killers, rivalling branded turntables that are 4 times more expensive. How can it not be recognized! haha 最後修改時間: 2013-11-20 13:54:53 |
