I did compare Sn62/Pb36/Ag2 to Sn96/Ag4 and the latter won easily when try on RCA interconnect. You can try flux pen first as the investment is cheaper. If you find it is still lacking, then you can consider to buy a solder iron designedfor Pb-free solder. Hope it can help. |

SILTECH? 不知名 tubediyer If the alloy melting point is so high, as Stardust suggested, you can either use flux to help or use a high frequency solder iron (check Metcal). Also try to use smaller diameter solder wire (0.4 or 0.5mm) so the wire can be melted faster and the molten solder can flow better. A correct soldering tip can also help. |
