| [#1793] SqueezeBox (SB2, SB3) 同好會 In the SBT you can set the volume adjustments as follows: Settings ＞＞ Audio Settings ＞＞ Volume Adjustment ＞＞ No Volume Adjustment / Track Gain / Albumn Gain / Smart Gain While the "No Volume Adjustment" setting i.e. fixed at 100% works for SB3, it doesn't work for SBT as apparently there is a bug in the firmware. One could however apply a 3rd patch as per the following link: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77837 |

But years ago I read about the vol control in SB and we should set to fixed 100% output if going with digital out with DAC. otherwise it will distort the output. From my 一知半解, I think SB's vol control is a 衰減. say normally for a song, it will push down the db when you get push your vol down. | [#1790] SqueezeBox (SB2, SB3) 同好會 Squeezebox query One day I visit my freind's CAS setup Config NAS + Squeezebox(coaxial output) + Lavry DAC remote control by squeezebox server software. I am very surprised that the volume contol are working through the sqeeezebox server software (+/- volume) under above config!? In theory, digital signal in squeezebox CANNOT be weaken by VR control trammitting through coaxial cable. But in my friend's case, the sqeezebox server software could control the (+/-) volume.
