| [#27] etsang3修復QUAD909 Hi Mr Tsang Sir: 兩邊(+57V 或-57V)供應電源部份check過.正常無問題。 近輸出接喇叭處在塊小形電路板是Quadlink部份有一對綠 黑線連接到Power LED現時是不亮.但部機還有正常温度. 這處連接到主機放大電路的訊號輸入這處.不知是否問題所 在.請看圖.Thanks! Tsang Sir:請問閣下有無這Quadlink部份電路圖!  |

I would like to know if a decent regulator is installed inside the power amplifier, will the low humming noise be unheard or eliminated altogether? Can you help me fix this problem? Or should I ignore it because of the design of the power amplifier? Now I hook it up with my Sim Audio P5. Is it normal? ＞＞ Normal. There is not a very decent regulator inside. By the way there was a pop sound coming from the speakers when I turned it on and off. Is it normal? ＞＞ There is Power-ON delay relay before the amp output so that pop sound is normal. That's one of the reasons of why good sound. |

| [#20] etsang3修復QUAD909 Hi Mr Tsang I got your valuable opinion and advice. By the way I bought one Quad 405-2 power amplifier yesterday and had an audition at home for a short while. There was no clearly audible humming noise in a distance of around several feet away from the speakers. However, when I got my ears close to the speakers, there was humming noise at a low volume which could only be heard in a very close distance. Is it normal? By the way there was a pop sound coming from the speakers when I turned it on and off. Is it normal? I can be sure that the noise did not come from the source itself. | [#19] etsang3修復QUAD909 Chan hing, coming and going, people are reporting amp noise to me. First, you need to ensure "amp noise" is the noise problem of the amp itself but not cause by the source. Try disconnect all the inputs and switch on the amp and only connected the speakers to test. BTW, is that 405.2 a modified one ? Thanks. |
