| [#25] SACD-R Kenny hing: I think it may be part of the reason --＞ most locally released SACD, especially 中文碟 are 粗製濫造. Wasted the SACD format. With local record company's poor attitude, I don't think it can sound good even with 32/352KHz or LP! Try those Linn and Telarc SACDs, they really do well for some release. Telarc's Round Up SACD is my "reference" disc for SACD so far. It even better than the original 1986 LP version! |

The other day, I was explaining to a 80's that why I needed a bigger harddrive to store the WAV files I prepared for my mom's PC - she was so astonished to find out that each song from a CD is 50MB+. I believe partly due to the CD side of SACD sometimes sounds even worse than original CD version (at least to some ppl's sense). But when playback the DSD side, I never find anything worse than original CD. |

I compared the SACDs between the SACD layer and the CD layer and found not much difference amid my system is not bad at tall. Eventually I sold the SACDs in a second hand shop. I bought at higher price because those were SACDs. Btw, the singer moved to another company, which I think is better choice and so long the same singer does not have SACD release.
