[#12] electrocompaniet 同好會 Hi MM622, I used EC4.7 pre - AW180 mono in early 2000 , and EC4.7 pre with AW250R in China apartment ( I am still using it) ... There is a review in Audiophile ( USA Magazine ), of EC4.7 / AW180 Mono, this is a very nice combo. You can visit electrocompaniet of the detail , i think that it is still there. For me , i am not an expert. The dealer told me EC4.7 is fade out, they will not order this model to H.K. (But I still saw thsi in EC web site).

Regarding of EC4.7 vs 4.8 and AW250R vs AW180 Mono, Someone said EC4.7 and AW250R sounds more 厚, 潤, 甜, 濃 BUT EC4.8 + AW180 is more clean and clear.

HI MM622,

From my own experience, ( Set 1 )EC 4.7 + AW 180, sound is much better than ( Set 2 ) EC4.7 + 250R... AS it is MONO power amp,, less interference between the amp... the sound stage is more depth , sound quality should be more clean and clear..The sound is tuble sound for sure.. Why Michael Jason use EC equipment as the monitor system for the ALBUM in early 2000. You can see the reason.

I used the EC4.7 + AW 180 for 7 years until i grade to Nagra PLP / VPA mono in 2007.

我用緊 Electrocompaniet EC-4.8 Pre-amp + AW-180 後級, 效很好我很滿宝意, 聲音清甜厚潤得來非常通透, 推一般不太大食的中,小型座地喇叭绝不是問題, 會較適合配d中性爽快開揚的喇叭, 我用佢推 Avalon Ascendant II.
