Thanks fei fei and Benson. I looked at the interconnect and digital cable of Riritanian and found that they were very nicely made, a friend of mine now using transistor equipments uses full set of interconnect and digital cables and achieved a very good result. My friend told me that the top model digital cable of Ruritanian is probably the most neutral and transparent digitals available now. Does anyone here have any experience with Ruritanian top model digital cable? if so, anyone knows the price range of their top of the range digital cable?

I have the digital AES Ruritanian cable. Good things are that Yes it is quite neutral, no boost in any frequency range overall. however it is made of silver plated copper and not PURE silver. There seems to be a little roll off in highs (compared to Siltech G6 only and highs are on a par with Audio Note, I have to say). The dynamic is VERY good. I especially like its good harmonics and texture.

The bad thing (which may only applies in HK) is it is very very stiff and U need to have a lot of space behind the hif rack!

thanks every one, I've borrowed my friend's top model Ruritanian digital cable and tried it with my front end systems which include Audio Note transport, Weiss transport, PS Audio DAC (inexpensive but is very good value for money) and Weiss DAC, I obtain a really excellent result. Every aspects have improved, dynamics, clarity, that "airy feeling", punchiness (but not hard or brittle at all), the highs are smooth and I do not notice any early roll off at all. I totally agree with IBMR 51 that the texture is very good making particularly human voice sound very very real. The details and soundstage are great too. I have tried and have used other digital cables such as Siltech, Red Rose, Transparent, Venture, Audio Note and Audioquest. It is for sure that Ruritanian sounds the best and is better than any of them. I hope my friend can let me try for longer time because I heard that this cable is quite a "hot item" and whenever it appears on second hand market, it will be gone very soon. I can only afford second hand equipments and pls wish me luck in finding a used one in second hand shop!

Hello!

I posted the Want-To-Buy advertisements at the R33 second hand market, and I luckily got both of the XLR and Cello versions recently!

The Ruritanian Conservatoire SG may not the best, however it matched pretty well to my taste.

It is true that we need space for the cables, my space is barely ok!

Good luck in searching the Ruritanian!
