| [#6] 台北邊度有音響睇 Chung Wah Road near Taipei Station. Lots of AV but also some hifi shops! U can find the rep office of Usher in CW Road. and U will realise HOW F good it sounds compared to, say, 3/5A! |

| [#8] 台北邊度有音響睇 yes there is Neotech there just wander Chung Wah Road and the little street which is perpendicular to CW Road (forget the name!). Lots of AV products and digital camera along that street as well. Go to check check! Can exit at West Mun Ting subway station and look for Chung Wah Road. U will definitely find it as there are a lot of top hifi shops there selling Dyna..McIntosh ....and the Usher shop! |

This shop sells Audiomat, Kora tube amps and DAC as well as PEL speaker, all from France. In addition, the shopkeeper also carries a host of EU CD labels which might not found in Hong Kong. Those CDs are very high quality and the shopkeeper is more than happy to let you listen to his CDs. If U listen to classical music, U shouldn't miss! | [#14] 台北邊度有音響睇 i don't know how much HK sells so I cannot answer your question. however, i strongly believe buying from Taiwan is the cheapest. I also like the pre-amp of Usher. Heard the Usher pre and power combo in Taiwan. Soundwise very near to entry level Cello that had been discontinued for years. I later did some research online and talked to taiwanese. They told me that indeed the Usher pre-amp was a copy cat of Cello, using very similar circuit. anyway, for about HKD10K you just cannot get anything nearby (even including second hand products!) |

| [#15] 台北邊度有音響睇 Star hing, There are also a number of locals who construct EXCELLENT valve amps. I've been to a number of their shops spreaded all over Taipei. U could do some research and can go should you have the time! I can say that the technical knowledge of taiwanese are WAY above HKgers. Maybe they have vast number of technical colleges and they all need military training, some told me they learned electronic stuff while serving in the army! |

| [#20] 台北邊度有音響睇 Agreed with you but Usher is NOT available in HK right? Also the names provided by U are also not available in HK, and so are most models of Neotech. Fun to visit hifi shops in Taiwan but please note that many are not in Chung Wah Road and are spreaded all over the greater Taipei. U may find it rather difficult to locate a particular one! |
