| [#7] 胆机唔接喇叭開机 無問題. --------------------------------------- 補充一點 : 如無訊號, 胆機唔接喇叭開機是無問題的. 如有訊號, 輸出牛在無負載下是一個大電感(inductor). 輸出胆屏極有可能電壓上擺很高, 此為之傷胆, 但事實是否如此 ? 須看電路設計, 尤其是負回輸取樣點. 現在大家都只能紙上談兵, 最好是 : 1. 量度屏極電壓, 在無負載下的擺動有沒有超出設計範圍. 2. 看電路圖, 計算無負載下的close loop gain. 當然需要輸出牛的參數 : 如open circuit inductance, short circuit inductance (=leakage inductance) 各ching, 如提出不同意見, 請解釋原因及証實(測量)方法. |

| [#10] 胆机唔接喇叭開机 I dare not try it with tube amps, though the chance of having a catastrophy is low. Problem is not with the output tubes, but the output trans. When the current of the primary windings switches from zero to operating condition, what's going to happen to the secondary. The secondary winding which is magnetically coupled to the primary will have induced power. Power = I x V So if the secondary is not hooked to the speakers ie. open circuit, current will be zero, voltage can be infinite, swing so high & violate the transformer insulation. In real life, since no trans is perfect, capacitance & resistance do exist, voltage swing couldn't reach infinity, but still it's not advisable to leave the speaker terminals open. Of course PP powers are less affected due to cancellation of both legs. Pls don't ask me to prove it. |
