| [#2] 擺位問題 I can think of two possibilities: 1) Use something, which can be a large medium-thick board (or furniture), on the side which has the speaker closer to the wall. Turn the board at certain angles so that the sound reflected to other directions but NOT to the listening area. 2) Use again something, which can be a large rigid board, on the side with speakers placed at the more open corrider side. This made both speakers have similar reflective area. This create more equal reflection situation for both speakers. I prefer 1) since it can avoid the first relection point :) I use a bookcase on the side with the speaker closer to the wall to deflect the first reflection point. Not ideal, but better than not using it. |

| [#4] 擺位問題 音棉 also works :) The only thing I worry is if you buy cheaper 音棉, you dunno what frequency it absorbs most or less. My reading led me think most do not absorb frequencies equally. There exist some 音棉 which is rather equal at absorbing frequencies (mostly above mid ones only). They're however very expensive. I tend to think use wood board / furniture with rigid surface at cerain angles to block / deflect the first reflection point seem to be a cheaper and domestic solution. Since RIGID surfaces are much less selective at reflecting back frequencies and playing around the angles of reflection could help reflecting most frequenices non-selectively to non-listenign area. Please correct me if I am wrong :) |

But you have a very diffusive or absorptive area on the right. Then the distance factor may be less important. Maybe would you tell us or post the environment about (1) what you put on the right and left side (the entire wall) (2) how far is the speaker from the 'corridor side'? ... |
