[#1] 若諗緊玩Bi-amp, 不要再諗喇, 去啦! 要追求hi-fi進步，真係要先搞好d器材 (唔計搞好個聆聽環境，因為搞它可能要換樓，或者根本無得搞)……因此，我決定用Bi-amp這個玩法。用一對Antileon Signature monoblock推低音，加一部Antileon Signature Dual-mono power amp 推中高……. 這個玩法真係好值得投資的。整個音場深度明顯地深左，動態和音樂感都明顯好哂。這種進步，不是更換線材、搞電源、摩機、換fuse……而做得到的。反而靠線材等去改善音場等做法, 效果有少少假假地的感覺...... ************************** 小弟知道用唔同牌子和型號的power amp和接線, 會有不同效果, 但要講求匹配兼要有好多錢和時間去試聲, 所以, 暫時做不到. 若有玩bi-amp經驗的師兄, 不妨分享你們的經驗吧! if u look at dvd/blu ray playback using an av receiver plus powered subwoofer(s), one is actually using the concept of bi amping.

using different amps to drive tweeter/mid and bass u may encounter different output level. how to properly crossover and phasing to reap the benefits are also very important.

bi-amp多對喇叭線, 玩HIGH o的, 仲有可能要多對訊號線, power線.....

少隻香爐......都係簡單o的好 :p

1）十分贊成，想玩就玩，趁仲有心有力。

2）不過我個人既bi amp經驗係失敗既，最后終於明白：

in hifi world : 1 + 1 =/= 2

I have several set of Amp in different time
1. One China tube pre M7 + 2 China Solid amp (now on sale. Ha…let me do some marketing!)
2. Yba pre+ 2 yba pwr amp (sold out previously)
3. int amp

Using biamp to drive speaker is a good idea if the amp is powerful enough
I use yba to drive FB1. It is not worked! The taste is good but poor performance
But the china combo performs very great but The taste is not good. (I did not tune the China sound!)
It simply means that the speaker is one of the factor if playing bi-amp!
About the cable, I have several options; traditional wire, one to two splitter cable. The case is due to your amp in vert or hor bi-amp
Recently, I try CAS + Crossover + Bi-Amp. It is great! But it is subject to playing the Crossover which is a “black hole”. I am hesitated!
In summary, higher output power Amp can get the better performance for whatever bi-amp method; vertical bi-amp or horizontal bi-amp
About the cable, don’t put them together. Split them each side!

I am using Gryphon: Antileon Signature Monoblock and Gryphon: Antileon Signature Dual-mono power amp. They are really good. If I want to upgrade, I believe that I should buy another pair of Gryphon antileon sig monoblock, because I think they are easily matched with each other. Anyway, really thanks for your advice!
