Cominox兄,那是因為膽機那班友仔炒膽炒到離譜,當人家是羊,花多多錢結果聲音回報只是微乎其微,因為買回來的東西的市價按其聲音表現比率嚴重脫節,只要是膽就炒到天價,與其要花一筆錢,倒不如花在更實際的石機層面上更好,很多時都可以找到好東西,而且,優質石機其表現其實很好,價錢有OK,我都轉用石機啦,正是那班炒家自食其果的時候了

Dear etsang3. Thanks for the info on TRP. I did come across a TRP factory visit report in the Chinese Wireless World back in the 60s. I vague remember the factory was in Kowloon Bay and I saw the photo of its production line. Was my memory right?

There was also one very impressive pair of speaker I saw in Moutries in Central, perhaps in 1969. It was large must be 25 in wide and 40 in tall, with many mid drivers and tweeters (cannot remember and one large woofer. It was playing with a McIntosh amp when I saw it. It was one of my most hifi moments in my memory. Do you know anything about that Radio Peoples speaker?

BTW, Audax is one of the best sounding speakers I like.

ttvfwong hing, ..factory at Kowloon Bay... yes. you may be right. Most of the time I will be at showroom and just sometimes I will go to ShamPoKong to visit the warehouse and also the TV (B&O) and HiFi service center there. I still remember another Master, Mr, Fung there. TRP also did professional acoustic system (PA amplifier and Recording Studio equipment). That's why I can get 2 16" Wharfedale woofer back home for DIY. They are spare of Lee Theater of that time. Those days were fun.
While I was working there, I could only see the small and the tall TRP Sepctrum loudspeakers.

今日又拎另一網友部Marantz出黎整,又都起度同大家分享過程。部機洗過面後都好靚仔(靚樣機我會有舖"翻新引",大家要保持"污穢"look記得要同我單聲呀!)

病症 : (未開聲) 用眼睇,leveler selector 唔準. Volume刮, 有CAP爆左,底板氧化,火牛到底板有供電線斷左(咁都出到聲?)

希望我日日都有時間整下夆捸C

我有d個人心得唔知有無用, 如果舊膠開始硬化無咁有彈性, 又或者個裂口比較受力的話, 可以切一塊細少的樹膠片, 以混合膠補上去作為強化, 呢個方法甚至試過用係大眼乾衣機隻門個彈力扣都頂得順架.
