Just like my cd player and Int. amp, Now I'm using same brand same model to find out is XLR or RCA sound better.... result is both have their strength. Just consider what you like and what you want for your music playback. I'm also a ex- 3/5a user, and glad that most of my 3/5a new owner can make it sound better than me. different people has different music, different taste. no need to make any argument . just enjoy music. |

But after I have first pair 3/5a and then I found this is the matching problem. I also found that no problem with any source (LP or CD). just my 2 cents. |

| [#47] 令人失望的Ls 3/5a 其實LS3/5A係未一對鑑聽喇叭真係有d疑問,因為有評論都講坅Y某一截中頻有d濛,配番宜家d硬聲cd機0岩0岩好,柔化0左聲底,順耳好多. ------------------------------------------------- LS3/5A 係設計比BBC電台, 放在流動採訪車中工作, 主要係鑑聽採訪後的錄音, 當然採訪係人聲為主, 其分音器有中頻延遲線路, 令到中頻慢了小小, 人聲聽起上來會清楚小小, 實在3/5A設計原意同鑑聽音樂無關, 同Hi-Fi更無任何關係... 世界各地,只有香港的聆聽環境和獨特文化使然, 才那麼多人鍾意3/5A.. |

It may sound good to a small group of users who do not appreciate the beauty of bass in music reproduction. If this is what they like, there is not point to argue further with them. |

| [#49] 令人失望的Ls 3/5a 其實3/5A唔係無敵，但她對人聲、小品、小提琴等的重播表現祇要配搭得宜，所發出的聲音是有一種百聽不厭的韻味！ 話3/5A拍邊，只是部機cliping！呀茂聽過以Leak去推對3/5A在音量時的氣勢就絕不輸於座地喇叭！但那種絕不是呀茂喜愛的聲音！ 呀茂喜愛的是以膽機，30W的去推3/5A播鄧麗君or一些小調，那種輕柔及嫵媚是其他品牌喇叭無法比到既！ 申報利益：自1989年賣走對3/5A及Counterpoint後呢十幾年來再未擁有過3/5A！ |

| [#51] 令人失望的Ls 3/5a 我發覺喜愛 3/5a 的一群， 一般聽女聲例如蔡琴，鄧麗君， 和單枝樂器如小提琴為主 很小聽到大型交響樂的fans such as 馬勒， 貝多芬， Bruckner 用3/5a, 因缺小了現場細節和動態 又或者 straight ahead Jazz 的fans, 因缺乏了鼓和double bass 的節奏感 更不論是Pink Floyd等 Rock 野 以上的感覺是和其他萬元級speaker的比較 講英國味不及舊celestion的好味 講Monitor 又不及同級 ATC, PMC, Harbeth 的小音染 加上不停inflated的價錢 所以真是好 depend on 聽者的口味! |

| [#52] 令人失望的Ls 3/5a tckl 謝謝 我知分音器改是因為KEF由8ohm改了6ohm，其實就是想問kef點解會有這樣的改良？想知他們的目的... 對我來說，石或膽，11或15ohm，各樣的配合也有其聲音，看自己喜歡，沒有好或不好，像"路人茂"兄的leak經驗，有氣勢也不等於自己喜歡。我也有個類似經驗，朋友裝了一部6550土炮推3/5a，也是非常有氣勢，音量比平時大聲很多也不拍邊，但不怕邊便是好嗎？看你喜歡甚麼吧.... |

| [#54] 令人失望的Ls 3/5a It simply couldn't reproduce the a bit complex band works and drums, e.g Eva Cassidy's Stormy Monday. not to mentioned big orchestra works and jazz. It couldn't handle grand adagio pieces, not the 爆棚 scripts. I often found 3/5A lovers smile and wrongly take the bass resonance (30-70Hz roughly) as good bass they can play out. Treble thrills (3-5kHz) are quite common when playing in loud volume so definately becareful chossing music software, avoid electronic sythesizers..etc. Oppositely playing low volume, the treble has some plastic sound (some people call it milar sound) often lovers taken this as 松香味。 So , I believe mark2 has brought out a kind of self 見地 that many hifi-er lack of. |

| [#58] 令人失望的Ls 3/5a 玩得3/5A 配搭得宜 弦樂仙音 非"擁"者焉知曲中樂 魚與熊掌 各有所長 諸君可明呼? ------------------------------------------ 大哥，呀茂相信呢度大部份的討論者都明白，亦好可能曾經擁有過3/5仔。 正如呀茂之前所講：配搭得宜，她的聲是百聽不厭！十九年前呀茂亦是誤打誤撞以膽機配她而使呀茂第一次体驗到鄧麗君歌聲中的'姣'。 但以當年的售價HK$3,650，而配搭HK$80,000的Counterpoint OTL 全膽前後級 + HK$24,000的Philip LHH1000。呀茂曾反問自己是否物有所值呢？最後因工作關系離港而全數買走！但十多年來，3/5A播鄧麗君的歌那種'姣'是到目前為止呀茂都未有再聽過！ 而大場面方面呀茂在一位3/5仔粉絲家中領略過，他用Leak 12.1去推，那種根肉人的表現實在令人驚歎，但亦非呀茂的喜愛！聲音呢家野各有所好，冇話靚哂，亦冇話衰哂！大家以平常心去交流經驗，不亦妙哉！ |
