會好啲＜＜ that depends on what is 好啲 for u

however u can do some test, if u have that 電處

as some feel ..things get worst by using some 電處..., so their 好啲 is not using it

for some 好啲 is using different 電處 for AMp and digital

for some .. 好啲 is not using any 電處 for amp...etc

suggest u run 3 simple test

test no. 1 ... A/B/C test for the CDT at 220 , 230 and 240 while all other device not using the 電處, the result can be...oh shxt..it sound so and at 230V, or i feel better at 220V..etc...

based on the finding from Test No. 1 , lets say test no. 1 , sound is almost the same for 230 and 240V

then conduct test no .2 with the AMP at 230V....

based on logically the amp is safe to use at 230V TOO

only test can find out...

once u have the result fro test 1 and 2

then u conduct test no. 3

if u have luck..u have your ideal configuration from one cycle of test.. , however for the worst...your answer can be obtained by less than 3 cycle of test...

and u will never get the truth answer for your system by asking ..haha

the results is really system dependent, even the 好啲 = same as other users with exactly same situation

some listener feel background noise is everything.. some feel dynamic is everything....some must feel some particular tonal color..warm..or cool and clean feeling..etc ... some need to feel the sound stage differently

my 好啲 is not using 電處 for AMP, and 230 for both DAC and CDT

You have no choice for using 220V only. Why do you intend to over drive your gears with the incorrect voltage? Every piece of gear has their own specific voltage which sounds right to them.Therefore i never use a 240V stuffs for its being 20V lower if fed with 220V .

Manufacturers usually allow a further margin of safety and, if the voltage does occasionally fall or exceed outside the nominated limits, there should be no adverse effect on your appliances.

In the UK or some other EU countries, the declared voltage and tolerance for electricity supply is 230 volts -6%, +10%, (nominated 240v). This gives an allowed voltage range of 216.2 volts to 253.0 volts.

In Hong Kong, the mains supply is 220 volts with tolerance +/-6% (range from 206.8v to 233.2v), therefore if you have active power regenerator, just set all mains output to 220V.

就部amp. 因為其它的都有穩壓,A/C 高低10%冇問題,但如果喂240V A/C入部amp,高壓即時大左幾十V,燈絲電壓亦大有可能高出10%,膽會短命D, not advisable!

CDT 的電源應該是有穩壓的(如果用開關電源就唔識), 一般的設計輸入電壓都會比所需電壓用高一些, raw A/C輸入低左10%應該唔會將個穩壓線路所需要的DC輸入電壓拉低到低過個minimum requirement. 所以應該可以assume部機還是會正常工作

For the worst.. It skip.. It has more error.. Etc..

Know.. There is really no harm to run some listening test.. It won't damage anything

樓主唔肯講牌子等大家去研究吓。

有師兄講咗應該有穩壓，應該冇問題。另外除非係以前打水貨年代，啲廠專登整到唔同地區set 唔同電壓同頻率，唔係exact 用唔到，邊有人set 240V咁on 膠。通常240V地方啲電壓最唔穩定，最大差異….. 就算香港220V 都好少機會做到。

#8 好緊要！電係套機嘅主要糧食,冇得忽視！（指對聲音影響）
先唔講聲影響,HK 220V , 如果住嘅地方比唔足電,如216至218V等,而部機input係240V, 較敏感的可以連機都著唔到！香港代理入口好多機都係220V或標220-240V, 其實內便就係230V, 所以220/230V機我會用牛上番部機嘅voltage才供電, 莫說是20V分別, 相差10V已有可聞的分別了！音響不同其它電器,電極其敏感,不像其它家電一樣能著機就可以！當然在安全性上+/-10%對機器的損耗沒大影響,但我執著的是聲音上的分別！
一般香港代理入240V 機的佔比例好少,由於用240V機甚少,我唔會刻意買多隻240V的牛比佢！因此240V機我係唔會買！220/230V的佔大多數所以2個voltage的牛我也會有！

HAHA IN THE WORLD of tube amp for guitar

we use VariAC to get some feeling or tone...

i have one tube guitar amp..it has a switch for lower the incoming AC for more than 10 % ...to get very different sound

i suppose we do not want that happen to hifi haha

lets say 120V unit , but feeding 100V...

240 -- we give 200V...

different application

etc...

我部電處係PS Audio P12 Power Regenerator, 它的輸出電壓可以調教，所以我set係230V比成套機用。
我部CDT是英國牌子機，英國嘅電壓係240V, 我部CDT,amp 同DAC都是同一牌子，但amp 同DAC是220V.
等我問一問代理點善後，再次多謝各位師兄！

如果你台power regenerator 睇到Mains voltage，你可能見到香港大部份係210V 左右，大六更參差，180V-240V都有。Point係香港大六市場比英國本土大，工程師會考慮export market要求多啲，所以中間220V最適合。
另外要睇吓P12推唔推到胆機。我覺得胆機好noisy 吓，未必有大改善，未必有需要增加P12 loading。

PS：我一樣用緊power plant，以前用過dCS CDP，冇用power plant 推amp。
