Make sure it is AC, not DC, I know some project product take 16V AC, double check Have u prepare, if u using this 18VAC output tranformer.. Do u have a tactic to bring it down to 16V, u know where to mod to some resistor.. Etc? If yes.. U may need a slightly bigger one.. As it is just not enough for current.. The requipment of power if not using the optional speed box, and that table suppose to be OK without the optional speed box, however it may have other power requirements.. 2) check the output voltage of that power supply 3) no harm to clean the platter shaft and the related bearing sleeve.. Etc.. apply. Some new lubricant oil tooi did had some vintage table grt back to speed after some new oil.. Etc.. Just hard to beleive the quite new project may be that reason... But never say never.. Haha 4) if the motor can be oil... Why not, some motor have a little holes for oiling, if not u may drip a few drop of correct oil.. Or at least some not too bad sewing machine oil.. Etc..
