Hello all

As I often listen at a lower than reference volume level (assumed to be 85db), say around 60db, it inevitably is going to impact the frequency response.

I am thinking of an equalizer so I can adjust to attempt to bring the bass and treble up to achieve perceived acoustic outcome as at the reference level.

1. Is this (using an equalizer) a valid idea?
2. If so, graphic vs parametric, which one is better doing such job?

Thanks for the suggestion.
Been looking around.
Parametric EQ seems to be quite difficult to use compare to graphic EQ.
Any advice you can give how to approach using a parametric EQ please?

I have this Mackie ProFX8v2 and today I am playing it in my son's room.

The Mackie ProFX8v2 has something called FX Effect which allows you play with different environments.

For this recording I chose the "Concert Hall" setting and I imagine what it may sound like when listening this Beethoven Violin Concerto in a concert hall.

Springroll had played the new generation of María Dueñas and I am afraid I don't have this copy.

I do have some old school master like Oscar Shumsky who I like quite a lot.
