As a general rule, I think the tweeter of the speaker should be as close to ear level as possible.

If the "trolley" is only for moving the 2S-305 around, it probably should not need to be so tall.

And I do find the bass of the 2S-305 not to be as "clean" by comparison. So maybe a stand could help.

i am actually considering a set of SPB-400DH, which also came from Japan.

Diatone stated the horizontal reference axis is 250mm from top for 2S305, the uppon and lower limit are +/- 10 degree from the axis to yor ear.

Usable listening distance from 2.5M to 10M and best range is from 3 to 4M.

For those Diatone friend, you can still buy a pair of brand new P610MB or P610MA online from Japan (Eifl) but they are very costly now.

I bout a pair of P610MB from them @ USA 150 a pair 11 years ago. Sold them at HK$4000 a few months ago.
